RESPOSIBILITIES: As part of Industrial Safety Engineering group, you will be one among the team designing & sustaining Industrial Safety Line of business with key focus on Fixed gas and Flame detection sensor solutions and Controllers Be able to work in multidisciplinary team Perform Electronics system development, schematic design, Circuit simulation, detailed design, working with regulatory agencies, verification testing & interfacing with cross functional teams while meeting the requirements. Coordinate team efforts of interdisciplinary engineers (Mechanical, Firmware, ECAD, Evaluation) for design of product and potential risk identification. Perform design analysis results (Stress, Tolerance, Error budgeting, Timing, power etc) and provide technical expertise for design trade off. Design the electrical architecture of SIL2 IEC 61508 product considering the usability, functionality, regulatory and compliance aspects Work with operations and supply chain to ensure manufacturability of the product and participate in production test equipment development and design transfer activities. Additional responsibilities include proof of concept firmware development, data acquisition software applications, technical report generation, documentation & progress reporting. Maintain high quality documentation of the entire design as required by quality organization. Perform hands-on work in the lab, as required. HTSIND2022 QUALIFICATION: B. Tech/ M.Tech in Electronics Engineering / 5 to 9 years of experience Essential qualifications Hands on experience with Micro Processor based systems, Analog & Digital system design, Power Supply Design and Interfacing with Sensors. Experience in end to end qualification testing for compliance and solving EMI issues to meet the required standards. In-depth knowledge of standards such as IEC 60601-1, IEC 60601-1-1 etc Minimum two complete product development life cycle experience (initiation, POC, design validation, launch and post release maintenance). Ability to automate data acquisition tasks with PC software like LabVIEW or Python Good knowledge of various communication protocols such as USB, DDR, SGMII, HDMI, SPI, and I2C. Exposure to Wireless Interfaces like WiFi and BLE Hands on experience with circuits design and error budgeting. Ability to statistically analyse data with software tools like MS Excel/MATLAB/Minitab Preferred Skills Ability to develop embedded programs in C-language Knowledge of six sigma principles in product design & development. Prefer working experience with analog Sensor signal conditioning circuits with micro-Controllers / Processor integration IEC 61508 / IEC 61511 standard awareness for Product design like PFD / HFT etc ATEX/ Flame Proof design Intrinsic safety (IS) protection technique for safe operation of electrical equipment for Hazards Environment
