- Perform financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting, to identify key business drivers and performance trends.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, highlighting key performance metrics, trends, and insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and insights for financial analysis and reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and financial targets.
- Evaluate capital expenditure proposals, investment opportunities, and cost-saving initiatives, providing recommendations to optimize ROI.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying areas of improvement and risk mitigation strategies.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as requested by senior management or other stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in financial planning and analysis.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis.
- Proven expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial planning software (e.g., SAP.).
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Experience in the manufacturing/retail/financial services industry preferred, but not required.
