
Senior Data Center Operations Analyst

- Implement and maintain operational policies and procedures to ensure reliability and efficiency.
- Monitor and manage capacity planning to ensure data center resources meet current and future demand.
- Collaborate with vendors for hardware and software installations, upgrades, and maintenance. Must have knowledge about ISP set-up and internet channel distribution.
- Must hold knowledge about HVAC technologies and systems. Should know how to install and configure ATS switches, and UPS. Should know how to configure PDUs.
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, network equipment, and other hardware components. Perform routine hardware diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Respond to system alerts, incidents, and user-reported issues promptly and efficiently. Manage hardware inventory, including receiving, tracking, and decommissioning equipment.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., ISO, PCI-DSS, GDPR, etc.) and legal requirements. Perform regular audits of security measures and address vulnerabilities proactively.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Monitor and respond to potential threats to data center operations, including power outages, cooling failures, or network disruptions. Oversee backup and recovery processes and ensure data redundancy.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising performance or security.
- Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors, including service providers and equipment manufacturers. Coordinate all the vendor related activity and raised required tickets in the system for tracking purposes.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of data center operations, including incident reports, performance metrics, and system configurations.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on the status of the data center’s operations and any upcoming changes.

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, MIS, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 4 – 6.6 years of Experience in managing datacenter operations and related Infrastructure
- Proven knowledge and skills on managing data center hardware installation/customization and troubleshooting related issues
- Expert knowledge on trouble shooting Datacenter related issues – Cabling, Power, Server and patch panels, Racks and Cable Mapping and network (LAN/WAN/Switches/Routers)
- Collaborate with vendors for hardware and software installations, upgrades, and maintenance
- Good understanding of HVAC technologies and systems, Knowledge on PDU configuration
- Excellent skills on ITSM practices (incident, Problem and change management).
- Good understanding of Agile methodologies
- Demonstrated reasoning and troubleshooting skills to resolve technical issues.
- Skilled in vendor management, and strategic partnerships to maximize infrastructure investments.
- Familiarity with Security best practices and compliance requirement
- Communication and Collaboration
- Strong customer service orientation, with experience in customer relationship management.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to executives and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to articulate complex technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, across all organizational levels.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of building rapport, credibility, and trust with stakeholders at all levels.
