Responsibilities:- Propose, implement, and monitor measures to comply with Health, Safety, and Environment legislation and codes of practice.- Prepare Risk Assessments, EHS plans, Emergency Response plans, and other EHS-related documentation.- Conduct daily plant inspections for unsafe actions/conditions, worker counseling, and follow-up.- Perform hazard and risk assessments and job safety analysis to devise solutions to mitigate risk factors.- Conduct safety training as per the plan for factory personnel, focusing on handling chemicals and hazardous substances.- Manage safety inductions for all new workers and staff, ensuring HS&E refresher courses are provided as required.- Conduct toolbox talks and mock drills to monitor emergency preparedness; investigate accidents and incidents.- Lead monthly and quarterly Occupational Health, Safety & Environment Committee meetings.- Participate in monthly safety audits and ensure all unsafe acts/conditions are reported to the respective departments.- Stay updated on safety requirements, EHS laws, and industry best practices.- Ensure Company EHS procedures are rigorously applied and fully implemented.- Ensure full compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements regarding safety, health, and environment.- Provide safety instructions and guidance to visitors and auditors.Candidate Profile:- Gender/Age: Male, approximately 20 to 35 years old.- Experience: 6 to 8 years in a manufacturing company with multi-location operations.- Skills: Ability to handle the role individually, create a safety culture, and demonstrate a go-getter attitude.- Communication: Must have good communication skills with fluency in English.- Qualification: Graduate with ADIS (Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety).- Reporting to: HR Head / Factory Manager.Compensation: CTC 5 to 6 LPA (Negotiable)Location: Shendra MIDC, Chh.
