- Develop and maintain 3D architectural models in Revit with a high degree of accuracy, adhering to project standards.
- Read and interpret 2D architectural construction drawings, plans, sections, and elevations.
- Ensure all models are created to the specified Level of Detail (LOD 300) for coordination purposes.
- Collaborate closely with our in-house structural and MEP modellers to create a unified, federated model for the project.
- Assist the BIM Coordinator in preparing the architectural model for weekly clash detection reviews in Navisworks.
- Update and revise the model based on design changes and RFI (Request for Information) responses.
- Maintain the organization and integrity of the architectural model file.
- Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 2-4+ years of professional, hands-on experience using Autodesk Revit Architecture on real-world projects.
- Proven ability to read, understand, and interpret complex architectural construction drawings and specifications.
- Solid understanding of core architectural components like wall assemblies, floor systems, and ceiling construction.
- Knowledge of BIM principles, standards, and LOD concepts.
- Experience working in a multi-disciplinary environment (coordinating with structural and MEP).
- Familiarity with clash detection software like Autodesk Navisworks.
- Experience working for a construction, engineering, or PMC firm.
- A basic understanding of structural and MEP systems and how they interact with architectural elements.
