Job DescriptionRole: Sr Customer Service Executive - Network Planning & DesignYears of Exp: 0-4Education: Technical/ Engineering degreeLocation: ChennaiRoles and Responsibilities:The role requires understanding of the planning scope & work plan to create Network Design Document (NDD) to support Enterprise E2E design and PON Patching, new builds/upgrades, including Aggregation Network, Carrier Ethernet Network, DWDM and transit fibre.The designer has to follow the Design Scope as per Design work instructions & Guidelines to support on-going updates and accommodate the changes in network architecture or equipment's as per scope.The designer has to understand the sketches / photos to create a new or update a existing design using software platform and maintain all network diagrams. Also generate Network design document package including 8 to 10 deliverables that includes BOM, Hardware configurations, design diagram, floor plan, fibre patch details, active & passive components.Quality and KPI must be 100% for all deliverables.Must have ability to self-learn and understand the Training material and follow the guidelines/rules supplied in Training Document comprising of 15 to 20 modules.Skills:Must have expertise on Datacentre Network Design, Carrier Ethernet Aggregate/Access Network Design.Must have experience in Fibre network designing specifically in FTTX, DSLAM, GPON & DWDM.Must have Design experience on Nokia 7740, 7750, 7450, 7210, 7302, Corient hiT 7300.Knowledge Data center design, site infrastructure, hardware & connectivity like SFP, racks, ODF/DCD - Power/Patch Panel, connecters, cabling & patch cords.Proficient on Design & planning tools on GIS applications, SpatialNet, autocad, MS Visio.Proficient with Network Architecture & Network Diagram (topology, fibre splitters, branch).Must have efficient communication skills both verbal and written.
