  • Forecasting/ordering of components to meet the business needs and keeping a constant check on stock levels.
  • Have close coordinate with production, planning & warehouse for procurement activities.
  • Daily monitoring of components stock as per customer needs & defined safety stock level.
  • Immediate action to handle delay in dispatches from suppliers.
  • Component Inventory review & management as per defined target.
  • Review & liquidation of slow/non-moving inventory.
  • Analyse procurement proposals from ERP (Material Resource Planning) and alignment of orders with supplier accordingly.
  • Daily management of purchase order in ERP system.
  • To Share monthly forecast & release new orders to suppliers as per ERP demand planning (Master Planning & Scheduling).
  • Optimization of component stock level.
  • To share monthly delivery rating with suppliers & define action plan for improvement.
  • Coordination with Planning, purchase & production team.
  • Maintain OA & invoice date in ERP for shipment & supplier delivery rating tracking.
  • PO vs OA/invoice price and tax check for overseas and domestic shipments.
  • Coordinate with Quality for supplier Audits.
  • Review safety stock of components based on current volatile global market situation & proactively adjust safety stock & deliveries/new orders accordingly.
