Position Overview The Vice President, Global Sales and Operations will lead a business development & client partner team that executes a shared vision to develop a sales and marketing led Global Services business, leveraging Zones, brand, relationships, partners, and global client base. This individual will work in partnership with the global Practices team to pursue targeted and curated clients primarily within the Zones ecosystem vs. hunting brand new clients. Also, this individual will have a strong ability to execute the designed architecture of a 'Horizontal' focused and dedicated Solution Services demand creation and solution-oriented organization that competes toe-toe with 'Pure Play Global Services Companies' and direct competitors. We are looking for a person who can run a division with full P&L responsibility. We want a leader who knows the APAC business and can grow the Division at a National level and leverage offshore resources. Should be able to partner with Services, Presales, Delivery and OEM's. Key Responsibilities The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. The Vice President, Global Sales and Operations is primarily responsible for: Working in partnership with Sales and business leadership of each Practice and business channel. Grow a proactive, disciplined GTM approach with a defined applying the Objective Strategy Tactics (OST) process. Create a 'BDM through Client Partner' model that performs as sector leading business development organization. Develop a sector leading governance process to assure proactive client penetration strategies in alignment with targeted practices leadership. Set Annual plan process and document with clear; measurable, observable, time bound metrics with defined owner or team. Work with practices who will hold the (P&L) as a check and balance to the demand creation team, who will be in at a minimum initial phase only on Top Line Revenue. Execute an efficient and agile governance process that drives (Quarterly, Monthly, Weekly) information and data driven reporting. Creating alignment which informs interdependent parts of the organization (Practices, Global Talent Sourcing, Forecasting, Partners, Management, etc.). Work as a consultative Solutions Services Sales team applying an operating model which is a Team Based sales model in conjunction with each of Zones sales channels. Work with management to design an optimal pay plan which supports and achieves the business objectives and builds a culture of 'driven performance-oriented demand creation culture'. Work with all Zones channels supporting the virtuous cycle of deal flow, timely handoffs, teaming, rewards, recognition that leverages deep insight from systems architecture and sales to provide edge in proactive solution sales. Work with Sales Enablement, and each channel leader to identify and support services growth objectives. Cultivate the behaviors and culture that support the operating model illustrated below. Apply a client driven prism for the optimal positioning, marketing, and refinement of 'practice' offerings. We are seeking candidates with the following experience and skills An undergraduate degree is required; an MBA or professional post-graduate degree is desirable Strong Business acumen with ability to create methodologies that are consistently applied in all engagements 15 + years consulting and/or consulting management experience in the technology/application domain Skills (IT, Admin., managerial, executive) 5 years + of experience in systems integration consulting and/or hardware/software vendor services on a national basis Proven record of accomplishment in building and growing services revenues (i.e., multi-hundred $million), while continuing to improve operational excellence (high utilization, full rate realization, meeting margin targets, focus on quality, customer satisfaction, etc.) and managing a full P&L Successful track record of building and managing a high-performance team that has built successful and profitable consultative relationships with key influencers in companies spanning a broad array of industries Proven track record of personally selling and managing large-scale, services projects to the C-Suite level of executives Excellent strategy development and problem-solving skills as well as business development focus and experience (e.g., relative to new products, services and go-to-market approaches), while possessing a broad level of technology understanding and substantial operational and financial acumen Experience working in matrix organizations and an appreciation of how the dynamics of growth affect corporate culture and in-place processes and systems. This includes experience planning for resources that meet the growth requirements of the business in rapidly changing environments along with strategies and programs that are flexible, dynamic and agile Ability to drive strong services revenue growth and profitability at scale Be a goal-oriented, driven individual with a superior ability to execute and sustain a high sense of urgency Be well organized with good delegation skills Possess excellent oral, presentation and written communications skills, as well as the interpersonal and leadership skills necessary to motivate a team Be comfortable and conversant in enterprise applications technology Be articulate and confident, with a presence and stature that will help maintain and build the Zones brand and position in the marketplace Zones offers a comprehensive Benefits package.
