It will support not only the business development in India, but also the global product portfolio of the Company.Position Summary:The Advance Engineer – Cabin Structures will be responsible for developing cabin controls for Small & Medium tractors (30-300+hp) segment. Position is part of Small & Medium Ag. Tractor PDE team at ITC and requires close collaboration with local/global peers, local and global leaders to transform the value generated for organization & for the stakeholders. Nature of work shall predominantly be focused on Product Design across new & current product development, VA/VE, sustenance engineering, etc.Primary Responsibilities:· Execute new Products projects and or Current Products for complete aggregate and or a part of aggregate. This involve design of parts, sub systems and systems· Conduct design analysis on components and/or assemblies to assist in the development process by ensuring designs are cost efficient, manufacturable, and reliable.· Expert in DFMEA, DMU, ECO creation and other design tool· Conduct Design review with cross functional team· Perform effective RCA and provide cost effective solutions for field issues.· Expert in DFMEA, DMU, ECO creation and other design tool.· Ensure design release timing and quality of design release.· Communicates with the other platform personnel to coordinate the interrelated design and assure project completion.· Manage complete design release process in TC / EC for prototype and production.· Provide inputs to Platform on new products and Current products.· Develop Engineering design project plan along with milestones to synchronize with main project plan for the product; Review sub-module detailed plans and suggest modifications as required· Work with cross functional team to gather inputs and ensure that design is workable as per KPIFunctional/Technical Deliverables:· Responsible for delivering the work in an autonomous mode with limited supervision from ITC in close collaboration with global teams focusing Execution Excellence on Time, Quality and productivity KPIs·· Responsible for growing technology of products in responsibility area, liasing with external / internal stakeholdersEducation Qualification:BE and/or ME in Mechanical or equivalent discipline is preferred from reputed instituteDetails of Work experience:· Intermediate professional role, responsible for delivery of professional activities with moderate guidance and direction. Accountable for meeting team targets, which impact the immediate team. Impact is limited to short-term team performance· Focuses on providing routine advice and creates initial reports / analyses for review by more experienced team members.
