Position DescriptionBusiness Division: CSM AgchemDepartment: Occupational Health CentreLocation: JambusarPosition Title: Compounder/Male NurseLevel: Junior StaffReporting To:Factory Medical OfficerPosition PurposeTo ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all employees by providing medical support, managing occupational health services, responding to medical emergencies, and ensuring compliance with health regulations within the chemical industry setting.Strategic ResponsibilitiesSupport the development and implementation of health and wellness policies aligned with industry standards and legal regulations.Assist in identifying potential occupational health hazards and contribute to risk mitigation strategies.Maintain readiness for emergency medical response in alignment with organizational safety strategies.Participate in the formulation of health-related SOPs and their continuous improvement.Operational ResponsibilitiesProvide first aid and emergency medical care during incidents or injuries on site.Maintain health records and medical histories of all employees and ensure their confidentiality.Conduct regular health checks and coordinate medical examinations as per company and statutory requirements.Administer prescribed medications and support chronic condition management for workers.Assist in the implementation of vaccination programs and hygiene awareness campaigns.Inspect and maintain medical supplies and first aid kits across the site.Collaborate with HSE teams to report and investigate workplace injuries or illnesses.Financial ResponsibilitiesPeople ResponsibilitiesEducate employees on health and hygiene practices to promote a healthy work environment.Foster trust and confidence among workers by providing compassionate and professional medical care.Liaise with external medical professionals, hospitals, and emergency responders when needed.Support wellness initiatives and employee assistance programs (EAPs).Education QualificationB.Sc. in Nursing or Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM)Work Experience3-6 years of experienceIndustry to be Hired fromAgro-Fine-Chemicals/API/ Pharma / HospitalsFunctional CompetenciesInteraction Complexity and Team WorkInteractionFrequencyPurpose of InteractionInternal:OHC Team / FMODailyReporting Incidents, Reporting Heath Issues, First Aid, Health Checks, Coordinating health programsExternal:Hospitals / ClinicsAs NeededReferrals, emergency coordination, Follow up on treatment
