Technical Operation Lead / Associate Director - IT Apps - 13+ years - MumbaiSummary - An excellent opportunity for technology operations leaders with proven expertise in managing and enhancing large-scale Java-based enterprise applications, driving production support, performance optimization, and team management in a transaction-heavy domain.Location - MumbaiYour Future Employer - A leading financial services organization known for its innovative digital platforms, offering a robust environment to drive large-scale application operations and transformation across mission-critical systems.Responsibilities
  • Lead daily BAU operations of enterprise Java applications across multiple business units.
  • Work closely with developers to continuously enhance system performance, reduce technical debt, and streamline operational workflows.
  • Collaborate with business teams to gather enhancement requests and implement new features.
  • Lead and mentor a team of 30+ application managers and engineers, fostering a high-performance, collaborative environment.
  • Track SLA adherence, operational KPIs, and maintain SOPs and deployment documentation.
  • Engage stakeholders across DevOps, QA, Infrastructure, and Business for seamless operations.
Requirements
  • 13+ years of experience in application support, production operations, or enterprise IT delivery roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java, SQL, AWS, Spring Boot, and microservices.
  • Proven track record of managing large, Java-based enterprise application environments.
  • Experience with database tuning (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server), indexing, and query optimization.
  • Solid grasp of Agile and ITIL methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
