- Master the Cost calculation of each cost element during Offer Creation Process.
- Master the Consolidated standard cost, Cost to Deliver, Transfer Price and their applications. Understand consolidation process
- Carry out product cost analysis, identify main cost driver, cost gap and root cause analysis
- Master Cost calculation of each item by manufacturing plant
- Master Cost calculation of each item according to different ERP/Oracle/SAP system
- Computes by his own part cost by using analogical approach. Able to assess part cost with standard technologies (molding, stamping, PCBA...)
- Carry out Ramp down cost calculation, Analysis of Change, estimate RMI impact
- Benchmark & Highlight main cost gap between New and Legacy offer.
- Understand the principal of circular economy. Compute the impact of green design (Recycled raw material, green packaging, labor, CAPEX...)
- Take a step back to check and validate results. Highlight cost risk. Provide reliability index and/or error margin on results
- Estimates product assembly time (Manual & Automatic assembly)
- Compute Cost To Deliver to customer spread WW to compare several industrial scenarios
- From a limited set of star product extrapolate cost for whole range / estimate full Turn Over
- Proactive and leadership to manage star products cost from Select to Close gate. Provide insights to select best Product/solution
- Improve product competitiveness by leading QVE action plan.
- Management star products from very early phase (Innovate/BCV phase)
- Master sensitivity analysis (RMI / QTY / Hourly rate…)
- Master complex PostSell (several plants & geographies) / Able to forecast the cost trend and gap, consider the RMI and inflation
- Appropriate & efficient communication
- Manage product Margin
- Benchmark with competitor product. Do reverse engineering to assess competitor product cost. Advise on advantage & weakness regarding cost versus features & performance
- Lead workshops on Design to cost . Ability to challenge the area of improvement for significative gaps on the costs
- Understand Profitability KPI (NPV, IRR, Pay back…)
- Know the different lever that impact profitability and how to leverage them
- Understand ONYX principal (CP- CP+ NP)
- Understand manufacturing plant P&L
- Overall CCO in Organization/Company
- Derogation & residual process
- Understand and use appropriately data from different Source (iDB, SCOP V2, PUMA, ERP/Oracle/SAP, 1MM...)
- Carry out costing using "Digital Product Cost Management Tool"
- Upgrade/develop tool for Costing community
