This role will be responsible for defi ning a competitive pricing strategy and discount policy, working closely with Pricing Managers, Product Managers, Product Marketing and Sales teams. It requires a constant review of the competitive landscape and industry trends. This role will also be involved in various system transformation projects to help achieve the wanted position. Close collaboration with Deal Desk is needed to structure complex deals and analyse performance trends.You will
● Take ownership of the Default Pricing and Pre-approved Pricing frameworks● Provide analysis around trends in customer requests and pricing. Take action on trends revealed, driving changes in pricing and costs
● Streamline and improve business practices, including tools, templates and processes, to increase the efficiency of the Deal Desk & Pricing team● Collaborate with Sales and Product teams to improve product performance and operational efficiency● Define and manage projects to deliver further operational efficiencies● Support the Product team to defi ne, develop and implement the Pricing Strategy of new products.Desired Skills and Experience
● Bachelor's degree required; Business, Economics, Math or Engineering undergrad majors preferred● 2-5 years of experience in a rapidly changing, deadline-based position involving daily interaction with multiple levels of management and peers ● Strong analytical skills● Excellent communication skills● Problem-solving skills● Excellent Excel and data manipulation skillsPersonal Characteristics
