About the RoleCCIB Business Finance Senior Manager is a critical role that is responsible for driving business performance by actively monitoring segment performance, planning and forecasting, controlling segment P&L and balance sheet, monitoring and forecasting balance sheet liquidity and providing high value analytics to senior business heads.Role ResponsibilitiesStrategy· CCIB Finance team partners with various businesses, products as well as functional stakeholders to provide analysis, insights and strategic decision support related to Segment performance. The team influences and helps drive the performance of the Segment· The successful candidate will develop a strong understanding of Segment performance in India, key dynamics, drivers, and trends impacting the business, as well as the opportunity to influence strategic decision making· This role provides exposure to a vast internal network of both business and functional stakeholders. It suits an individual with strong analytical, problem solving, and change management skills with experience of driving change within large multinational banks / companies and can deliver under pressureBusiness· The candidate will be responsible for delivering a wide range of performance analysis of the Segment/ Product, progress against plans, highlighting risks and opportunities, and improving processes and effectiveness of the function· This role requires an individual with hands-on experience and attention to details, a self-starter who is willing to work with limited direct supervision, and someone who can deliver under tight deadlines. The team does analysis and presentations to senior stakeholders. The successful candidate will have the potential to raise the bar on performance by setting high quality standard in supporting demanding senior stakeholders· The candidate will interact extensively with business, product, and various teams across the bank primarily in India and region, in a fast-paced environment. The engagement also includes a range of senior Finance management stakeholders across different Product and Segment teams, as well as finance teams across the Bank’s network· Preparation of CCIB Annual Budgets, forecasts in co-ordination with Head CCIB Business Finance and CCIB Business· Stakeholder engagement with CCIB Segment heads, RMs and Product Heads· Monitor and analyze actual performance against annual financial plans & budgets using various MIS reports and tools· Monitor Balance Sheet capacity and Liquidity requirements and represent business in various liquidity related discussions· Demonstrate good understanding of Balance Sheet and liquidity concepts including regulatory requirements like LCR, NSFR· Assist in formulating the new Product Program Guidelines and vetting of PARS.· Manages the overall Finance function of CCIB Reporting, preparation of presentations, Client Performance (PMI) reporting/handling queries and GSAM Reporting / RWA analysis· Provide financial and accounting inputs as a value add to Business· Review of timely & correct submission of financial returns to various internal & external customers· To embed Operational Risk management / monitoring as an integral part of the business process.· Ensures the compliance at business units to generally accepted accounting principles and practices, Group Accounting Manual, DOIs and other regulatory accounting guidelines· Ensure the integrity & accuracy of the PSGL Accounts under the business unit Dept IDs through implementation of control systems, review of key reports and MIS· Ensure that all elements of revenue generation & cost incidence are captured accurately and have financial controls in place to prevent revenue & cost leakages.Processes· Build insights and analytics capabilities across CCIB Finance India to support key decision making· Partner with segment/ product teams to drive insight into performance· To co-ordinate and drive appropriate accounting, detailed reconciliation, and analysis of GSAM book and its provisioning (both by Group standards and Local regulations)· Undertake detailed peer review and external benchmarking analysis, identifying areas of best practice and key focus areas· Prepare and coordinate Segment presentations for CCIB MBR, Asia Finance Management Team and other management forumPeople & Talent· Responsible to oversee and manage staff directly and indirectly in the offshore center· Responsible to hire and develop quality talent.Key stakeholders· CCIB Segment and Sub Segment Heads· India CFO Team· India Special Assets Group/Risk team· CCIB Region Finance - Performance Management Team· Country product heads· CCIB Group Performance Management Team· CCIB Group Finance – Client Coverage and Cost Teams· CCIB Product CFOs
