Senior Software Engineer (SDET/QA)

• Lead the delivery of complex solutions, coding larger features from start to finish
• Actively participate in planning, and performing code and architecture reviews of their teams product
• Help ensure the quality and integrity of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for their team and identify opportunities for improvement in how the team works, through usage of recommended tools and practices
• Develop and maintain automated UI and end-to-end tests for React Native mobile and React web applications
• Create reusable, maintainable, and scalable test frameworks using modern automation tools
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA team members to understand requirements, acceptance criteria, and edge cases
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Bitrise, Jenkins)
• Debug and troubleshoot test failures; identify root causes and communicate issues to engineering teams
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and QA process improvement initiatives
• Ensure consistent execution of tests across environments (staging, pre-prod, production)
• Contribute to test data management and environment setup as part of test planning

• 7+ years of relevant experience with a bachelors degree OR equivalent relevant professional experience. Including:

• 5+ years of experience with mobile platforms (Android/iOS), build systems (Gradle, Xcode, CocoaPods), and automation tools (Appium, Detox, Fastlane)
• 5+ years of experience in authoring test strategies for large enterprise and practical implementation expertise in test data definition

• Expertise in manual testing for mobile and web applications
• 5+ years of experience with automation testing technologies like Selenium, Detox, Jest, Mocha, WebDriverIO, etc.
• 3+ years of experience withcloud-based CI/CD platforms like Jenkins, GitHub Actions for mobile apps
• 3+ years of proven experience in different test frameworks (functional, non-functional) development to be extended by multiple teams within the org
• 3+ years of experience working with Git, release branches, version control, and automated build tools
• 1+ year of experience in using mocking library in past for react applications
• Strong technical background inmobile and web test automation,release engineering, andCI/CD pipelines
• Strong technical knowledge ofReact Native and React testing strategies
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and deliver high-quality apps at scale
• Strong project management, stakeholder communication, and coordination skills
• Excellent communication skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams

• 2+ years of Mobile App development experience with React Native
• 1+ year of native iOS/Android development experience
• 2+ years of Web development experience with React
• Prior experience with GraphQL clients and GraphQL based contract testing

• This position is based in Bengaluru.
