This position carries key responsibility of ensuring site safety and meeting EHS targets, driving annual business plans to achieve AOP targets, and strategically managing the talent needs of the site. As a leader, this position is responsible for production, delivery with customer focus (ex. RK/PK), supply chain, quality, budgets pertaining to it, safety of associates and equipment’s, and talent management to ensure strong succession pipeline.This leadership position will drive overall operational performance, EHS and P&L ownership for the plant, including hands-on leadership of the Regal Rexnord Business System, which enables continuous improvement throughout the value stream. The right candidate will drive a culture of Continuous Improvement while achieving year over year performance improvement. The person in this role will actively lead Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost performance to exceed our stakeholders' expectations and enable growth in the business and play a key role in creating a vision as well as achieving short- and long-term strategic planning objectives.Major Responsibilities:

- Consistently enhance EHS performance of site, fostering a safety-focused culture and driving improved safety metrics.
- Set and monitor the performance of the plant to ensure that the plant is meeting its current and future production targets and quality standards.
- Monitor and drive continuous improvement related to speed, cost, quality, and safety metrics.
- Optimize the talent within the organizational structure and foster an environment to promote individual and team growth and career development goals.
- Establish strong relationships with associated business leaders and functional leadership i.e. Human Resources, Quality, Supply Chain, Technology, Sales etc. in order to ensure strong communication and alignment between manufacturing and its counterparts.
- Establish operating budgets; monitor and manage the cost and effectiveness of production activities to optimize resources, prioritize spending, and achieve volume, quality, and manufacturing standards.
- Implement and reinforce policies and procedures to ensure safety, quality, delivery and cost reduction goals are achieved.
- Effectively develop, communicate and align the organization around the business' Key Performance Indicators to ensure performance targets are achieved.
- Champion all EH&S efforts. Ensure that associate and product safety are the top priority. Drive a culture of Safety and actively provide leadership relative to safety accountability with site leadership team.
- With the site leadership team, lead the business management cadence (Daily/Weekly/Monthly) that drives Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Growth performance throughout the organization.
- Responsible for both operational and financial performance of the business focused on Revenue, Operating Income and Cash performance. Effectively manage budgets and spending to achieve both long and short term business objectives.
- Partner with other Site Leaders, Business Unit, Business Segment and Central Functions to ensure both Regal's and Customer's Success.
- Work with business leader to establish annual operating budgets, including capital investment.
- Drive speed by removing waste and compressing lead times.
- Reduce year-over-year cost by a minimum of 3% net of inflation.
- Improve inventory turns through use of lean principles to deliver working capital metrics.
- Clearly communicate performance to key stake holders in the organization.
- Establish Continuous Improvement vision and drive reviews with high cadence to deliver.
- Be accessible, actively work with teams and support their journey during kaizen and GEMBA.
- Build a high performing team that is result oriented with high say-do.
- Develop strong front line-supervisory skills within the operations team.

- Foster a culture of appreciation and feedback in the plants.
- Maintain frequent communication with associates through the All Employee Meetings.
- Actively leads and participates in the lean manufacturing initiatives by leading and owning key goals.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge in respective industry. Keeps staff aware of new and significant developments and serves as a resource for all the staff, with emphasis on the strategic supply chain and manufacturing perspective.
- Keep track on productivity, efficiency, process improvements and monitors MIS and score cards accordingly.
- Implements actions to create a highly engaged, high performing, and inclusive work environment across plants.
- Ensure constructive engagement with union executive committee members and foster harmonious employee relations climate at shop-floor. Ensure equal focus on shop-floor discipline and employee engagement.
- Developing production employees managing healthy relations with production team and strategically leading wage negotiations with Unions.
- Provide hands-on coaching to functional and site teams on manufacturing operations, lean concepts, Kaizens etc.
- Drives diversity and inclusion initiatives via innovative approaches.
- Acts as advisor and coach to the functional and site leadership on appropriate Manufacturing practices; ensures implementation and compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical / electrical engineering or equivalent related experience
- Postgraduate in Operations management.
- 15+ years of total work experience.
- 7+ years of hands-on production / manufacturing experience in consumer or industrial engineering setup with proven track record on EHS, Quality, production planning, materials management, Delivery, Productivity front.
- Exposure of working on multiple domains (Production, Quality Supply Chain etc.) will be preferred.
- Experience in in mid/large size Corporation (most preferred).
