Job descriptionOur organization is building a world-class Analytics Center of Excellence (CoE) that serves as the strategic hub for data-driven decision making across all business units. As a Senior Data Scientist within this CoE, you will be at the forefront of turning complex, ambiguous business questions into rigorous analytical projects that deliver measurable impact. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of analytics solutions-from problem formulation and data exploration to model development, validation, deployment, and continuous monitoring.The role requires you to work closely with a diverse set of partners, including product managers, engineers, category leads, supply-chain planners, marketers, and finance professionals. By understanding their pain points and strategic objectives, you will design and implement analytics-driven interventions that improve revenue, reduce costs, and enhance customer experiences. You will also collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure that data pipelines are robust, reliable, and ready for large-scale analysis.Key responsibilities include:Success in this role hinges on a blend of deep technical expertise and strong business acumen. You must be comfortable working with large, complex datasets, possess a solid foundation in statistical modeling, and be proficient in SQL and Python or R. Equally important is the ability to translate technical results into clear, actionable recommendations that resonate with non-technical stakeholders.We value individuals who demonstrate structured problem-solving, first-principles thinking, and a bias for impact. You should be an effective communicator, able to convey complex concepts in simple terms, and possess high stakeholder empathy to navigate cross-functional relationships.
