Job Description:Business Analyst – Data Visa & Regulatory ComplianceLocation: (Pune) | Experience: 5+ YearsWhat You Will Be DoingAs a Business Analyst, you will report to the Head of Business Analysis and work in a compliance-driven environment to ensure timely approvals for data transfers and sharing across 72 countries and third-party entities using the Data Visa portal and related processes.You will collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including Product Owners, Project Teams, Cybersecurity SMEs, Local Regulatory Compliance, Legal, and Data Privacy teams to ensure governance and compliance for cross-border data movement.Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct request case pre-screening and ensure completion of data submission templates.
  • Validate prerequisites (e.g., contracts, application details) before initiating requests.
  • Raise and submit Data Visa requests and update information when needed.
  • Review and ensure compliance with local regulatory conditions; remediate gaps if required.
  • Manage:
  • Data Transfer Country Approvals
  • Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) Approvals
  • Additional approvals within the Data Visa portal.
  • Prepare and submit documentation for review by Country/Legal Entity Regulatory Compliance for activities outside the portal.
  • Organize and facilitate meetings with stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution of actions.
  • Document and review process improvements with detailed workflows.
  • Maintain an approvals tracker for Data Sharing, PIA, and related categories.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate internal communication and foster effective collaboration across teams.
  • Ensure stakeholder alignment and consensus to meet compliance objectives.
  • Handle queries and engagements from multiple teams simultaneously.
  • Maintain a high level of organization while managing multiple Data Visa cases.
What You Will Bring to the Role
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with relevant industry certifications.
  • Strong knowledge of Regulatory Compliance for cross-border data sharing.
  • Excellent skills in collaborative leadership, facilitation, and communication.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management and independent decision-making.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency for data analysis and reporting.
  • Familiarity with document repositories like Confluence, SharePoint, and ticketing tools such as JIRA and ServiceNow.
