- Maintain and optimise inventory levels to ensure consistent availability of raw materials and components for manufacturing processes, aligning with production schedules and supply chain demand.
- Participate actively in inventory planning sessions to define and adjust optimal inventory thresholds that balance cost-efficiency and operational readiness.
- Monitor inventory performance regularly, identifying trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements concerning inventory management, procurement, and loss prevention.
- Implement and oversee robust loss prevention techniques and practices to minimise shrinkage, damages, and obsolescence.
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing, procurement teams, and suppliers to synchronize supply chains, fostering effective communication and timely resolution of supply issues.
- Manage and lead the daily operations of the Material Logistics and Lifecycle (MLL) staff, promoting a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and high performance.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all inventory control processes, including audits and compliance checks.
- Apply industry best practices and technological advancements to improve inventory accuracy, reduce lead times, and enhance supply chain responsiveness.
- Contribute to annual budgeting and forecasting activities related to inventory and supply chain expenditures.
- Support cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing supply chain efficiency, sustainability, and cost optimisation within the farm division.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on inventory metrics for senior management and stakeholders to aid strategic planning.
