Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Maintain and optimise inventory levels to ensure consistent availability of raw materials and components for manufacturing processes, aligning with production schedules and supply chain demand.
Participate actively in inventory planning sessions to define and adjust optimal inventory thresholds that balance cost-efficiency and operational readiness.
Monitor inventory performance regularly, identifying trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement to facilitate informed decision-making.
Ensure strict adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements concerning inventory management, procurement, and loss prevention.
Implement and oversee robust loss prevention techniques and practices to minimise shrinkage, damages, and obsolescence.
Collaborate closely with manufacturing, procurement teams, and suppliers to synchronize supply chains, fostering effective communication and timely resolution of supply issues.
Manage and lead the daily operations of the Material Logistics and Lifecycle (MLL) staff, promoting a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and high performance.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all inventory control processes, including audits and compliance checks.
Apply industry best practices and technological advancements to improve inventory accuracy, reduce lead times, and enhance supply chain responsiveness.
Contribute to annual budgeting and forecasting activities related to inventory and supply chain expenditures.
Support cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing supply chain efficiency, sustainability, and cost optimisation within the farm division.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations on inventory metrics for senior management and stakeholders to aid strategic planning.
