For additional information, visit us at www.wipro.com.Job Description:Job DescriptionRole PurposeThe purpose of the role is to resolve, maintain and manage client's software/ hardware/ network based on the service requests raised from the end-user as per the defined SLA's ensuring client satisfaction͏

5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering or support.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, and other networking protocols.
Experience with enterprise-grade firewalls and IDS/IPS systems.
Proficiency in network monitoring and analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds, NetFlow).
Familiarity with behavior-based network analysis and anomaly detection.
Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, Network+, etc.) preferred.
Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 network infrastructure.
Configure and manage network devices (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto).
Perform network flow analysis and behavior-based traffic inspection to detect anomalies and optimize performance.
Implement and maintain network security policies and access controls.
Assist in network design and capacity planning for scalability and performance.
Collaborate with L1 support and escalate issues as needed.
Document network configurations, changes, and incident resolutions.
Participate in on-call rotation and respond to network incidents and outages.
Conduct root cause analysis and provide recommendations for long-term fixes.
Stay updated with emerging networking technologies and security threats.
