We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Analyst - Information Management GSC'S Why join us Global Analytics Centre (GAC) provides support to various business groups and functions to drive analytics in decision making. The job responsibilities include data analysis, design, validation and calibration of credit, market and operational risk models. In addition, GAC also supports credit risk strategy development and implementation, monitoring and validation. This forms the basis for strategic planning by the senior management for businesses and enables effective decision making to satisfy business needs and requirements along with addressing unforeseen challenges. UK Risk Strategy team is a key functional area within Retail Risk Analytics. The function supports Development, Deployment support and Monitoring of Strategies in Secured and Unsecured retail portfolios in UK. This role requires the incumbent to support strategic interventions, insight generation and some regular reporting in Unsecured portfolio. This position reports into the Lead AVP/ VP - UK Strategy in GAC. What you'll do: The role which falls under Decision Sciences job family, should involve credit risk strategy development / monitoring and support to UK Unsecured Risk priorities - on origination strategies such as approve / decline strategy, limit strategy, affordability strategy, income verification, score cut-off review, rule review and portfolio management activities like limit management, authorization etc Support work-streams like strategy PIRs, strategy deployment, data quality check, adhoc analysis on strategy / policy etc. Generate portfolio insights and support regular reporting The incumbent would be expected to effectively explain the trends, adding meaningful insights backed by relevant business knowledge Responsible for ensuring productivity and output quality for all initiatives within agreed SLAs Requirements What you will need to succeed in the role: At least a Bachelor's degree in mathematics/ statistics/ economics/Engineering or equivalent Masters degree is desirable. Phd is a plus Prior experience in managing risk activities in retail lending is essential Understanding of Unsecured consumer lending products like Credit Cards, Personal Loans, Overdraft etc. Excellent communication skills with the ability to converse in technical and non-technical/business aspects is essential Ability to deal with onshore stakeholders is required Strong analytical skills with an ability to grasp new concepts quickly Excellent analytical, problem-solving and verbal and written communication skills. What additional skills will be good to have Relevant experience in analytics specifically in the fields like Credit Risk Strategy Development, vintage profitability modeling, Portfolio Insights/MI etc. Prior experience with development of acquisition risk strategy (Approve/Decline), account management strategy or strategy analysis and portfolio management would be preferred.
