Visit to learn more!We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting manual and automated testing on our software applications to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and update scripts to automate testing processes, ensuring they are both efficient and effective.
Identify, analyze, and meticulously document test results.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop effective strategies.
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of business requirements and the technical aspects of software testing
Verify that software applications meet both functional and non-functional requirements.
Perform thorough post-release and post-implementation testing.
Participate in troubleshooting and triaging issues with various teams to identify root causes and drive resolutions.
Confirm and validate identified defects.
Continuously maintain and improve the automated scripts.
Regularly assess and implement new tools and technologies to enhance testing efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED:

Hands-on experience of less than 3 years as a Test Engineer.
Experience in Manual Testing/Black Box testing skills
Hands-on experience in Python programming.
Experience in requirements tracing tools, defect tracking and Test management tools
Familiarity with various testing techniques like BVA, Equivalent partitioning, Pair Testing etc
Familiarity in the various methodologies i.e., V&V, Agile, Waterfall etc.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Master's in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

DESIRED:

Knowledge of train operations or transportation domain such as Train control systems.
Good understanding of IBM test management tools.
Exposure to Eclipse/PyCharm.
Experience in Test management tools like IBM DOORS, RTC, RM etc
