As a Software Development Engineer II, you will own end-to-end delivery of significant features while serving as a technical leader. You'll design and implement solutions using native AWS services, driving engineering best practices and mentoring team members to deliver high-quality software.In this role, you will:
- Design and implement scalable, highly available systems using native AWS services
- Own and lead the technical delivery of major software features
- Drive technical strategy through collaboration with product teams
- Lead design reviews and provide meaningful code reviews
- Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering excellence
- Balance customer requirements with architectural and operational needs
- Drive operational excellence and best practices for software development
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming languagePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
