- Plan, develop, and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned science lessons for Classes VI to VIII using diverse teaching methodologies.
- Design and implement formative and summative assessments to evaluate student learning and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Utilize interactive tools, laboratory experiments, and digital resources to enhance conceptual understanding and practical skills.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and progress reports.
- Collaborate with subject coordinators and fellow teachers to develop interdisciplinary projects and school-wide science initiatives.
- Supervise and conduct science practical sessions and laboratory activities safely and effectively.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff development workshops, and school events.
- Stay updated with the latest pedagogical trends, curriculum changes, and science education best practices.*Requirements:*
- Bachelor’s degree in Science (B.Sc.) with a major in Physics, Chemistry, or Biology, and a B.Ed. in Science Education.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a recognized school, preferably in the CBSE or state board curriculum.
- Strong subject knowledge in Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) for Classes VI–VIII.
- Proficiency in using digital teaching tools, smart classrooms, and learning management systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to inspire students, promote inquiry-based learning, and create an inclusive classroom environment.
- Familiarity with the syllabus and examination patterns of the respective education board (e.g., SCERT, CBSE).
- Willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities, science fairs, and student mentoring programs.*Preferred Qualifications:*
- Experience in conducting science experiments and managing lab equipment.
- Certification in STEM education or educational technology is an added advantage.
- Proven track record of improving student performance and engagement in science subjects.
