Role Description Location: Mumbai This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Assurance Tester. Tests software to detect bugs and errors. Checks whether a product complies with the requirements. A detective who knows where the bugs can hide, even where no one expects them. The Quality Assurance Tester will be responsible for test execution, creating test cases, manual testing, and ensuring quality assurance. The Quality Assurance Tester must possess strong analytical skills and be detail-oriented. Qualifications Expertise in test execution and creating test cases Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience in Quality Assurance and manual testing Excellent attention to detail Good written and verbal communication skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred Relevant IT certifications are a plus Main Role: Tests the system using attention, deduction, and sometimes special software. Designing test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures. Executing tests on source code. Analyzing test results and reporting to the development team. Working with the development team to correct bugs and errors Testing on API, Database, and UI Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field. A good working knowledge of test management software, programming languages, and QA methodologies. Manual methods Must have experience in automation Test new and existing features, debug code (units and integration) and report errors and failures Work collaboratively with the developing team to correct errors and participate in testing for product releases. Gathering requirements Test automation and test methodology (ex: TDD or BDD) Knowledge of various programming languages (e.g. Java,, C++, SQL, Objective C and/or Swift) Experience using web based and mobile testing frameworks (ex: Selenium WebDriver) Experience using project tracking software considered a strong asset (ex: JIRA) Experience using version control systems (ex: Git or Mercurial) would be considered an asset ISTQB- Foundation Level would also be considered an asset Prepares test strategy, defines the scope of work for other members, and controls test execution Expert in documentation Professional experience analyzing code for weaknesses and errors and overseeing plans to improve them Experience designing secure software systems based upon industry-specific specifications Working on PMS like Jira is an added advantage #Domain Knowledge -Finance -is an added advantage #Good have AI/ML and blockchain knowledge Targeticon Digital Services Pvt.
