This role requires a deep understanding of financial markets, strong analytical skills, and the ability to make informed investment decisions.Key Responsibilities:Portfolio Management:

Construct and manage the large-cap equity portfolio in line with the fund's investment strategy and objectives.
Conduct thorough research and analysis on potential investment opportunities, considering various factors such as financial performance, industry trends, and economic conditions.

Investment Decision Making:

Make informed buy/sell/hold decisions based on comprehensive research, financial modeling, and market trends.
Stay updated on market news, economic indicators, and relevant geopolitical events that may impact the portfolio.

Risk Management:

Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential downsides and ensure the portfolio aligns with the risk tolerance of investors.
Monitor and assess the overall risk exposure of the fund, making adjustments as necessary.

Performance Monitoring:

Regularly evaluate the performance of the portfolio against benchmarks and peer funds.
Provide detailed performance reports to stakeholders, including clients and top management.

Client Communication:

Communicate investment strategies, portfolio performance, and market outlook to clients and potential investors.
Address client inquiries and concerns, maintaining a high level of transparency and professionalism.

Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:

Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and industry standards.
Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to uphold ethical standards and adhere to all applicable laws.

Team Collaboration:

Collaborate with research analysts, traders, and other team members to gather insights and make well-informed decisions.
Foster a collaborative work environment within the investment team.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field;
Master's degree or CFA designation is preferred.
Should have minimum 12 ys of experience in equity markets.
Minimum 3-5 ys of proven experience as a Fund Manager with a focus on large-cap equities either in AMC or Insurance companies.
Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of financial markets
Excellent decision-making abilities and the ability to thrive in a volatile investment environment.
Effective communication and presentation skills.
