- Delivering Sales Target assigned to Zone / Area.
- Planning: Weekly/ Monthly target planning for the team/ distributor.
- Customer Management: Maintaining a conducive professional relationship with all business partners.
- Execute trade marketing initiatives through field force.
- Monitoring Budgets and utilizing the same to optimum level.
- On hand experience of distributor management which includes Distributor primary, secondary, distribution targets, ensuring proper claim management, handling compliance issues.
- Responsible for ensuring return on investment to distributors this continuous monitoring of agreed norms and service levels.
- Conduct regular market visits to check route coverage, competitor activity and continuously search for new opportunities to increase sales in the area.
- Ensure that adequate inventory stock of product is maintained in every store to provide superior levels of service and meet the needs of the customer.
- Ensure the right caliber of staffing and appropriate training to meet all job requirements.
- Ensure that the staff is well motivated and engaged to stay and contribute effectively to the organization.
- Managing a team of Sales executive/ sales officer/ merchandiser and keep them motivated, providing guidance, monitoring performance.
- Designing the growth plan (quarter and annual) of the territory and monitoring the same.
- Analyzing competition scenarios and reporting the same. Weekly/ Monthly/ Quarterly review with the team.
- Strong sensitivity to the FMCG industry.
- Prior experience in Modern trade & general Trade.
- Knowledge of Indian retail dynamics and the retail environment.
- Financial knowledge and experience in managing a P&L, expansion analysis, sales forecast.
- Experience in leading teams to achieve strong results.
- Strong presentation/communication skills with the ability to influence and inspire.
- Commercial acumen, driven by targets.
- MBA with minimum 6 years of experience in FMCG (preferably in Snacks).
- Prior team leading experience.
