We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Regional Planning & Engineering to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless development and optimization of our operational infrastructure. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in site evaluation, facility modification planning, process design, and the on-ground implementation of automation projects, collaborating extensively with internal and external stakeholders.Responsibilities:- Site Assessment & Planning : Conduct site visit of existing and shortlisted branch/hub facilities to assess suitability for operational requirements or changes required in existing process.- Facility Modification Design & Scope Definition : Prepare detailed layouts and comprehensive landlord scope of work documents for required modifications in shortlisted branch/hub facilities, ensuring they are optimized for operational use.- Operational Process Optimization : Develop and refine operational process layouts, coordinating closely with cross-functional teams to gather feedback, identify necessary changes, and ensure effective on-ground implementation.- Automation Project Execution : Lead and drive the on-ground implementation of automation projects, coordinating effectively with external vendors and various cross-functional teams across different locations and hierarchical levels.- Cross-functional Collaboration : Foster strong collaborative relationships with internal departments (e.g., Operations, IT, Admin, Procurement) and external partners to ensure project success and alignment with business objectives.- Documentation & Reporting : Maintain accurate project documentation, progress reports, and present findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.- Problem Solving : Proactively identify potential issues and bottlenecks in project implementation and propose effective solutions.Skills Required :- Strong understanding of engineering principles, preferably with a background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.- Skilled in AutoCAD for drafting precise layouts and designs.- Demonstrated ability to manage projects from conception to completion, including planning, execution, and monitoring.- Excellent ability to analyse complex situations, identify root causes, and develop practical solutions.- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.- Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and coordinate with external vendors.- Meticulous attention to detail in preparing layouts, scopes of work, and documentation.- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.- Willingness to travel frequently to various branch and hub locations for Audit and project implementation across the North Zone.Experience:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred).- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in a planning, engineering, or project management role, preferably within logistics, supply chain, or a similar operational environment.- Proven experience in designing facility layouts and preparing scope of work documents.- Demonstrated experience in driving on-ground project implementation, especially automation initiatives.- Familiarity with operations research or logistics domain concepts is a plus.
