Job Description:ob Summary:We are seeking a skilled Power BI and SQL Developer with 5-8 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data modeling, dashboard development, and writing complex SQL queries to support data-driven decision-making.Key Responsibilities:Develop, deploy, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards for various business functions.Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to extract and manipulate data from multiple databases.Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Design efficient data models and relationships to ensure optimal performance and scalability of Power BI reports.Perform data validation and troubleshooting to ensure accuracy and consistency of reports.Monitor report usage and performance, implementing improvements as needed.Integrate data from multiple sources and ensure data quality and integrity.Automate data refreshes and report distribution processes.Support ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests.Stay updated with the latest Power BI and SQL best practices and industry trends.Required Skills & Qualifications:5-8 years of professional experience in Power BI development and SQL programming.Proficient in writing complex SQL queries, joins, subqueries, and optimization techniques.Strong experience in creating Power BI reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.Hands-on experience with data modeling concepts including star schema, snowflake schema, and normalization/denormalization.Familiarity with ETL processes and tools is a plus.Experience with relational databases such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.Understanding of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query (M) language.Ability to analyze and understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Azure Data Services (e.g., Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory).Knowledge of Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.Familiarity with version control systems like Git.Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
