Deutsche Börse Group in India is composed of a team of capital market engineers forming the backbone of financial markets worldwide.Job DescriptionField of activity:Corporate IT of Deutsche Börse Group oversees end user workplace experience, voice & communication, application development and operations for all group processes such as Financial Core, Customer Care, Control & Corporate Processes, as well as Deutsche Börse Groups implements the Groups Digital Transformation initiative through the AI Platforms & Corporate Data delivery team. We also develop and operate and Enterprise Analytics platform, which is the core of collaboration, sharing and measuring our groups success.Our mission is simple Make IT Run!As Head of Unit for AI & Data Solutions Hub (f/m/d) within Corporate IT, you will lead a team of AI & Analytics Experts, Data Engineers with diverse experience and backgrounds. You will own the development and delivery of a growing AI & Data landscape, managing application developers and architects and interfacing with all stakeholders from product management and product owners to platform, infrastructure, security and cloud development teams to secure the product roadmap. As an ideal candidate to head the AI & Data Solutions Hub, you will help all group functions and business users in translating their AI & data into meaningful information for quantitative decision making and intelligent steering.If you strive to take ownership and develop creative solutions, are fascinated by technology, and like to work in a challenging and fast paced environment then you are exactly the person we are looking for.Tasks / Responsibilities:
- Lead the evolution, scalability, and reliability of the organizations AI and Data platforms delivery team.
- Define and execute strategic plans for AI and Data, oversee implementation, enhancements, and ongoing operations.
- Develop end to end solution strategies and a clear roadmap for AI, data and analytics capabilities aligned with business needs.
- Translate business strategy into an information and analytics strategy with a strong focus on the enablement of business stakeholders via the utilization of AI and advanced data methodologies.
- Act as a role model people leader and senior expertfostering talent, coaching team members, and building a high performing organization.
- Participate in high-level meetings and presentations to showcase the delivery capabilities and value proposition Lead effectively in an agile environment, continuously driving improvement across teams and initiatives.
- Apply design thinking and solution, oriented approaches to deliver innovative, practical outcomes.
- Stay current on emerging technologies, data trends, and skills needed to proactively evolve the team.
- Support strategic and compliance (2nd line of defense) initiatives within Corporate IT.
- 15+ years experience delivering analytics solutions across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Proven leadership of complex system integrations (Cloud to Cloud, SAP to SAP, non-SAP to SAP), ensuring the right expertise is brought together to deliver successfully.
- Strong understanding of business operations, data mesh concepts, data domains, and data products, with the ability to translate them into AI driven business value.
- Hands on expertise with modern data and analytics platforms (Google BigQuery, Databricks, SAP BW/4HANA) and AI services/technologies (Vertex AI/Gemini).
- Good knowledge in designing and delivering analytics front end solutions using SAP Analytics Cloud, Microsoft Power BI, and Google Looker.
- Deliver SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) related projects, including new implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.-(no need).
- Solid grounding in engineering practices and IT processes including change, release, and incident management.
- Experienced in agile project delivery, driving agile ways of working within IT and in collaboration with business teams.
- Strong documentation and presentation skills, able to convey complex topics clearly and convincingly up to Clever audiences.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Regular operational tasks with Function leads.
- Align with team, ensure every delivery is broken down to the tasks level.
- Setting up sprints in JIRA and aligning with client teams on the deliveries that will be done in the sprint.
- Setting up of tasks, sub tasks in JIRA, assignment of tasks for individuals in the team, tracking and monitoring of the tasks.
- Organize daily stand-up calls with the team, stay connected with the team on the progress of tasks assigned.
- Tracking delays on completion of tasks, understanding of the reasons for delays.
- Continuous monitoring of tool, assignment of tickets to the right associate in the team.
- Alignment with client IT team to ensure priority of individual tickets is appropriately set.
- Focus on priority / emergency bugs.
- Ensure backlog is always kept under control. Continuous discussion with the team to address backlog.
- Ensure periodic updates sent to all stakeholders
- Very effective stakeholders management across the different teams.
