FunctionInformation TechnologyJob DescriptionPosition Summary:The Application Architect ensures that solutions within Enterprise Application Services (EAS) meet business needs, align with ADM standards, and optimize performance and cost. This role collaborates with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and project teams to implement scalable designs, maintain architectural documentation and roadmaps, and define future-state applications.
Responsibilities also include prototyping, facilitating technical sessions, and promoting emerging technologies. The architect acts as a change agent, building strong stakeholder relationships and anticipating how technology shifts impact business processes, data, and infrastructure.
You will work closely with the other service teams within Global Technology (GT) and ADM.Your Responsibilities:

Solution Architecture: Design scalable, secure, in-house and COTS applications with cross-functional teams.
Business Alignment: Collaborate with Global Technology to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Technical Architecture: Define and enforce technical designs for business processes and integrations.
Hands-on Prototyping: Conduct POCs to enhance architecture and optimize business processes.
Infrastructure Optimization: Partner with infrastructure teams on capacity planning and upgrade strategies.
Roadmap Management: Maintain solution design documents and update architectural roadmaps

Your Qualifications:

Experience: 10+ years in IT, 5+ in architecture roles with strong technical role.
Oracle Expertise: 8+ years in Oracle Forms & PL/SQL; 3+ years in architecture or tech lead roles.
ERP Systems: Familiar with Oracle, SAP, JDE, and custom ERP platforms.
Solution Design: Skilled in multi-platform application design and integrating with Oracle and other ERP applications.
Database & Middleware: Strong in Oracle DB tuning, Oracle Reports and App Server.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams and manage competing priorities.
Project Delivery: End-to-end project leadership including technical execution.
Cloud: Proficient in Azure architecture, services, and deployment models.
Analytics: Experience with Power BI, SAP BW, Azure Synapse for data-driven insights.
DevOps: Hands-on with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and containerization.
Integration: Experience with SAP PI/PO, Azure Service Bus, and other middleware.
Frameworks: Knowledge of React, .NET Core, and Azure PaaS.
Architecture Principles: Strong grasp of design patterns and software architecture styles.
Communication: Able to convey technical concepts to business stakeholders effectively.
