- Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills
- Desire to work in a fast growing, exciting and agile business
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment, including with teammates in other locations
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines, independently manage time and is self-motivated
- Prepare journal entries for our Treasury, Debt, and Adjacent Services operations in NetSuite
- Reconcile property settlement statements to cash paid or received
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies by coordinating with title agencies
- Prepare month-end balance sheet reconciliations, supporting schedules and fluctuation analyses
- Prepare journal entries for cash transactions and reconcile cash to bank statements
- Assist with Opendoor's financial statement preparation and financial statement audit
- Identify and implement process improvements through automation to support the company's growing business operations
- Real estate accounting experience
- NetSuite or other ERP experience
- Licensed CPA or CPA candidate
- Basic understanding of SQL
