
Technical Information Engineer – Vehicle Repair Method

- Research and analysis of Engineering data (3D CAD)
- Develop digital repair & maintenance methods
- Evaluate & develop repair concepts in EC (via Work-Step-Table “AST”)
- Document repair methods in the database
- Derive Standard Times via MTM-Systematic (AW: repair time for workshops)
- Develop thorough understanding of the various carlines & engine types in MBC
- Co-ordinate with different departments for updates on the above
- Contribute to continuous improvement in the specified working area
- Research and analysis of Daimler AW-System based on MTM-Systematic
- Planning of the AW-System for new car-models in DC-Repa (Daimler AW-Tool)
- Min 2-4 years' experience in the field of After Sales/technical documentation/ simulation/publication
- Good knowledge on automotive components/systems and its functioning is must
- Experience in repairs & maintenance of cars is a must
- Knowledge in Powertrain/ Vehicle Integration related to MBC
- Experience in NX CAD is a must
- Experience in any Engineering Change Management system
- Experience in any PLM software
- Knowledge in computer programming & German language are added advantages
- Knowhow of the key aftersales processes in the Daimler workshops is desired (e.g.: what does an MB-Technician need?)
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical field is mandatory
- Master's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred but not mandatory
- Additional certifications in CAD tools, automotive repair, or quality management will be an advantage
