Reporting To: Head – Business DevelopmentRole ObjectiveThe General Manager – Business Development will be responsible for driving expansion opportunities and building strategic partnerships, with a strong focus on real estate connections. This is an individual contributor role requiring a 360-degree business development approach across QSR, Retail, Hotels, and Real Estate sectors.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Expansion & PartnershipsIdentify and evaluate new business opportunities across QSR, Retail, Hotels, and Real Estate.Leverage strong real estate developer/broker network to source new sites and partnerships.Negotiate and finalize MOUs, lease agreements, and business deals.Strategic & Financial AnalysisConduct feasibility studies, market analysis, and competitor benchmarking.Build financial models to assess ROI and business viability of new opportunities.Present business cases to internal stakeholders for approvals.Stakeholder & Cross-Functional CoordinationCollaborate with internal teams (Finance, Legal, Design, Projects) to ensure smooth project execution.Liaise with global teams for approvals and alignment.Manage legal documentation, due diligence, and compliance.Market IntelligenceMonitor competitive landscape and market trends.Provide insights and recommendations to enhance expansion strategy.Candidate ProfileEducation: MBA / Graduate (Preferred specialization in Marketing or Finance).Industry Background: QSR, Retail, Hotels, or Real Estate.Experience: 8+ years in Business Development, Sales, or Expansion roles.Skills:Strong network in the real estate sector (developers, brokers, consultants).Excellent articulation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Strong negotiation and influencing capabilities.Analytical mindset with strategic thinking ability.
