· Develop civil engineering designs for both substation and solar projects, including site grading, access roads, equipment
foundations, retaining walls, fencing, and drainage systems.
· Conduct site visits to assess topography, geotechnical conditions, hydrology, and constructability for proposed sites.
· Review and verify engineering calculations, quantities, and technical reports.
· Utilize CAD software to create detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
· Experience in project management and working with multidisciplinary teams.
· Knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles.
· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Experience with solar energy & substation projects and relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
· Review and verify design calculations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards.
· Ensure all designs meet local, state, and federal regulations, including zoning laws and permitting requirements.
