Our client is seeking a TCMS Lead to join our team and spearhead the architecture, development, integration, and validation of Train Control and Monitoring Systems for next-gen rail vehicles. You will play a key leadership role in both design execution and client-facing program delivery, contributing directly to the development of cutting-edge, safety-critical railway technologies.This role is based in New Delhi, India.Key Responsibilities:- Lead system-level design and development of TCMS solutions, including hardware architecture, software architecture, and network configuration.- Oversee end-to-end integration of subsystems (braking, propulsion, doors, HVAC, CCTV, fire safety, etc.) into the TCMSI- Interface with rail OEMs, rolling stock manufacturers, and standards bodies to ensure regulatory and functional compliance.- Prepare and manage technical documentation, including FRS, SRS, ICDs, validation protocols, and safety cases.- Guide and coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams-software, embedded systems, testing, and field support.- Conduct field trials, troubleshooting, and system commissioning support as needed.- Stay current with global TCMS trends and standards (IEC 61375, EN 50128, EN 50155, etc.).Job RequirementsRequired Qualifications:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related Engineering discipline.- Minimum 7 years of experience in TCMS development and integration, preferably with rolling stock OEMs or rail tech companies.- Solid understanding of embedded systems, CAN bus, MVB, Ethernet Train Backbone (ETB), and train communication protocols.- Hands-on experience with IEC 61375, EN 50155, and EN 50128.- Strong documentation and system engineering background.- Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate with external stakeholders.Must Have- Experience with SIL-certified software systems.- Exposure to real-time operating systems (RTOS) and model-based design.- Knowledge of cybersecurity requirements in railway systems.- Prior involvement in metro, LRT, or intercity rail projects.
