As a WordPress Developer & SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress websites while ensuring they are optimized for search engines. You will collaborate closely with the marketing team to improve site visibility, user experience, and traffic through SEO best practices.Key Responsibilities:WordPress Development:Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites using themes and plugins.Build responsive, user-friendly websites that align with brand guidelines and client needs.Integrate and configure plugins and APIs for optimal website functionality.Perform regular updates and maintenance to ensure the website’s performance, security, and stability.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress websites, including debugging, server issues, and theme/plugin conflicts.SEO Strategy & Implementation:Conduct comprehensive keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for organic growth.Optimize website content, images, and metadata for on-page SEO.Implement technical SEO strategies, such as optimizing site speed, mobile responsiveness, and ensuring proper site architecture.Perform regular SEO audits and track the effectiveness of SEO strategies through metrics such as rankings, traffic, and conversions.Ensure websites are indexed properly and improve their overall visibility and performance on search engines.Content & Performance Optimization:Optimize content for search engines by implementing keyword strategies, improving readability, and enhancing user engagement.Create and manage SEO-friendly landing pages and blog posts.Analyze and improve website traffic and performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools.Enhance user experience (UX) and design elements to increase site engagement, reduce bounce rates, and improve conversions.Link Building & Off-Page SEO:Develop and execute link-building strategies to improve domain authority and search rankings.Monitor backlink profiles and conduct outreach for guest posting and partnership opportunities.Reporting & Analytics:Regularly monitor SEO performance and provide reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as organic traffic, rankings, and goal conversions.Analyze competitors' websites and SEO strategies to identify areas of improvement and optimization.Provide recommendations for improving both the technical and content aspects of websites.Requirements:Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with strong knowledge of front-end and back-end WordPress development.Solid experience with SEO best practices, including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar platforms.Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP (basic to intermediate level).Understanding of website performance optimization techniques (speed, mobile optimization, etc.).Experience with WordPress page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or similar tools.Knowledge of website hosting environments, including FTP, cPanel, and DNS management.Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with data to drive results.Familiarity with e-commerce platforms like WooCommerce is a plus.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field.Experience in local SEO, content strategy, and e-commerce SEO.Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.Certifications in Google Analytics or SEO (e.g., Google Analytics IQ, HubSpot SEO, etc.) are a plus.Personal Skills:Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting.Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently.Strong time management and organizational skills.A passion for staying up-to-date with the latest SEO trends and WordPress developments.Creative and strategic thinker with a focus on achieving measurable results.
