- Develop and execute monthly and annual Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules.
- Support PAN India teams with essential maintenance operations.
- Maintain and verify PM checklists for all branches on a monthly basis.
- Attend and troubleshoot emergency breakdowns and diagnose mechanical/electrical faults.
- Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of new equipment (electrical and mechanical).
- Provide technical training and support to production teams for new machinery.
- Coordinate with service vendors, follow up on work completion, and maintain service documentation.
- Ensure proper documentation and submission of BESCOM records, compliance reports, and support plant inspections.
- Manage spares inventory and ensure availability of critical components.
- Collaborate with the purchase and quality departments to maintain standards for spare parts and consumables.
- Handle system-generated purchase requisitions, raise POs, and obtain required HOD approvals.
- Ensure compliance with PCB (Pollution Control Board) norms and assist third-party vendors during inspections.
- Manage DG changeover activities and monitor diesel fuel consumption for uninterrupted power supply.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for maintenance activities.
- Contribute to factory regulatory certification initiatives (like ISO) and drive implementation measures.
- Monitor and record daily plant power consumption, and submit monthly energy reports to management.
- Plan and assign tasks to contract-level maintenance workers.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and performance standards.
- Maintain and ensure availability of all required tools and testing equipment for routine and emergency use.
