We respect, embrace, and invite diversity in all forms to actively cultivate an environment where everyone can flourish and realise their full potential.Job DescriptionPosition Summary:Principal Designer, as a senior member of the drafting team, is expected to coordinate with project managers, engineers and other technicians for technical delivery of wide range of engineering drawings for projects of varying complexity. In addition to engineering tasks, Senior BIM Modeller is also expected to support HoDs in competence development of the drafting team within the department. Principal technician would be key drivers for technical quality of the work and compliance with project objectives and quality standards.Responsibilities:

Mentor - Provides guidance and knowledge to juniors and works towards competence enhancement of other technician within the team
Will coordinate with project managers and/or engineers for draughting work in a given project.
Is responsible for technical correctness and timely delivery of the drawings and documents in his projects
Understanding of all aspects governing operational & up to date knowledge of the latest technological advancements, regulations/guidelines &statutory compliances in the industry.
Effective resource planning/optimization with a focus on waste reduction, enhancing productivity & profitability; ability to use sound decision-making skills to effectively perform in a self-directed environment.
Possessing valuable insights, keen analysis team approach to implement best practices, adept at working in high-pressure environments with strict deadlines &multiple deliverables.
Technical expertise in Revit MEP (BIM software), AutoCAD MEP, Naviswork, AutoCAD & familiar with BIM/CAD Standards,ASHRAE, ISHRAE, ACAD - (2004 to 2012), Navisworks & Revit MEP 2009 to 2023.3D,4D Drawings.
BIM MODELING, Coordination and Preparation BOQ.
Will assist the project team towards developing/implementing draughting standards.
Would assist in even distribution of work within the drafting team
Will assist in improving the efficiency and productivity of the drafting team
Communicates the training and development needs to his supervisor
Exercises self-discipline and work ethics

QualificationsRequired Skills and Qualifications:-

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or ITI Trained Professional with minimum 5 to 10 years of professional experience ideally having worked on major Middle East , UK projects.
Strong knowledge of Revit is essential.
Core Knowledge of Mechanical & HVAC.
Knowledge of 3D modeling tools such as Revit & Navisworks would be desirable
Knowledge of 3D modeling of all services Mechanical,
Knowledge of 3D modeling of Mechanical, plumbing will be addon.
Experience in preparing general arrangement drawings, Experience in all stages of drawings such as Concept, Schematic, Detail design and GFC
A robust knowledge of Building Services design and experience of services full co-ordination
Must have knowledge of BIM/CAD standards and aware of Engineering terminology
must have experience on international project
self-motivated, team player and able to work independently with minimum supervision
Flexible attitude, in an environment with frequently changing deadlines can be relied on to meet deadlines,
committed to both their work and personal development, with a willingness to widen their experience, including knowledge base and leadership skills
Knowledge of Microsoft applications
