Key Responsibilities:Risk Strategy Development:· Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive risk management strategy tailored to the EPC industry.· Establish and maintain risk management policies, frameworks, and governance structures.· Align risk management practices with the company’s strategic goals, ensuring the integration of risk considerations into decision-making processes.Risk Identification and Assessment:· Identify and assess potential risks that could impact the company’s operations, including financial, operational, strategic, legal, environmental, and reputational risks.· Analyze risks associated with individual EPC projects, including project delays, cost overruns, safety concerns, regulatory compliance, and environmental impact.Risk Mitigation and Control:· Develop and implement mitigation plans to reduce the likelihood or impact of identified risks.· Advise senior leadership and project teams on risk exposure and recommend proactive measures for risk mitigation.Project Risk Management:· Work closely with SBG/Division with Project managers to identify and manage risks on large-scale EPC projects.· Oversee the integration of risk management processes into all project phases, from bidding through to project completion.· Ensure that risks in procurement, construction, and engineering activities are properly managed.Reporting and Communication:· Report regularly to the MD & CEO, Chairman, and senior leadership on the company’s risk profile, risk management activities, and mitigation progress.· Provide insight into risk trends, issues, and opportunities for improving risk management processes.· Lead risk review sessions with key stakeholders to ensure alignment on risk priorities.Team Leadership and Development:· Lead and mentor the risk management team, promoting a culture of risk awareness across the organization.Continuously improve the capabilities of the team through training and professional development programs.RequirementsStrong understanding of risk management principles, methodologies, and tools. Experience with risk management software and analytics.Proven ability to manage complex projects and large teams. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.In-depth knowledge of EPC project lifecycle and associated risks.Ability to make data-driven decisions and provide strategic insight to senior leadership.
