Principal Engineer – Service Now – Now Assist AI AgentsJob Description**Role:**- Principal Engineer for ServiceNow focusing on Now Assist AI Agents- Lead the development of modern Service Management and Automation solutions,primarily in Healthcare- Design, develop, and own AI agent platform components, including promptengineering, integrations, and workflows- Act as a technical and functional consultant for ServiceNow implementationsutilizing AI and the Now Assist platform- Provide architectural guidance, deep product knowledge, and best practices- Translate customer needs into scalable solutions and manage customerengagement, including scope and risk management- Enable and mentor team members on ServiceNow domains**Requirements:**- Extensive experience in Professional Services, ideally with a software OEMbackground- Strong understanding of AI integration into workflows, decision-making, andautomation- Experience with agentic/autonomous systems, vector search, human-AI interaction- Proven experience with large-scale, distributed systems and relevant technologies(Kubernetes, Kafka, Flink, Spark)- Programming expertise, especially in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript- Familiarity with ServiceNow certifications (CMA, CTA) and additional certifications(TOGAF desirable)- Hands-on with LLMs, prompt engineering, and applying AI to solve real-worldproblems- 6+ years in software engineering, with a focus on product design and userexperience- Strong stakeholder management, communication skills, and ability to handlecomplex customer needs- Architectural and systems design skills, capable of working with changing priorities**Skills:**- Technical: ServiceNow platform, AI/ML, large-scale systems, web frameworks,Java, Kubernetes, data streaming tech- Consulting/Communication: Customer engagement, solution presentation,translating technical concepts to business stakeholders- Design & Visualization: Creating wireframes, workflows, conceptual documents- Soft skills: Ownership, execution, collaboration, agility in evolving environments
