We focus on innovation, quality, and compliance, with a mission to improve patient outcomes and simplify care delivery.Role SummaryWe are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, testing, and production of medical devices. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality, and Regulatory to ensure that all mechanical aspects of our devices meet performance, safety, and compliance standards.Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for medical devices using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo).
- Perform tolerance analysis, FEA, and design optimization to ensure product reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with electrical, biomedical, and manufacturing teams on integrated product design.
- Prepare technical documentation (design specs, BOMs, DMR, DHF) as per regulatory requirements (ISO 13485, FDA).
- Participate in prototyping, testing, and validation of devices and components.
- Support design reviews, risk assessments (FMEA), and verification/validation activities.
- Work with suppliers and contract manufacturers to ensure component feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation across the product lifecycle.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, assigning tasks and ensuring on-time project delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in medical devices, life sciences, or precision engineering.
- Proven team handling and leadership experience in engineering projects.
- Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) and simulation tools (ANSYS, FEA).
- Familiarity with DFM/DFA principles, GD&T, and rapid prototyping tools.
- Understanding of medical device development processes, ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820 preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and project coordination skills.
