  • Fly Delta Mobile team is responsible for delivering innovative features on iOS and Android supporting Delta and Virgin Atlantic's customer-facing mobile platform. This team works closely with the technical architects, partner with peers across IT and the business organizations in order to build an industry best customer experience
  • As a Release Train Engineer (RTE) at Delta Air Lines, you will work closely with various teams including senior level leadership to ensure effective software delivery. You will be responsible for aligning technology solutions with business strategies by communicating and clarifying business needs, contributing to development of long-range systems plans, and seamless delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitation: Leads and facilitates key program-level ART events, such as Program Increment (PI) Planning, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt workshops.
  • Coaching & Mentoring: Serves as a coach and mentor to the ART leadership, Scrum Masters, and teams, promoting SAFe practices and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Impediment Management: Identifies, escalates, and helps remove impediments and roadblocks that hinder the ART's progress and value delivery.
  • Risk & Dependency Management: Manages risks and coordinates dependencies across multiple teams and ARTs to ensure smooth execution and delivery.
  • Process Improvement: Uses Agile delivery metrics and events to identify areas for improvement, driving continuous improvement and maximizing organizational performance.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Acts as a key liaison, communicating effectively with stakeholders and leadership to ensure alignment and support for the ART's goals.
  • Value Delivery: Focuses on the overall flow of value, ensuring the ART delivers high-quality solutions that align with business objectives.
What you need to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
  • Overall Experience 10+ years
  • Servant Leadership: A strong servant leader who empowers and supports the teams.
  • Agile Expertise: Deep understanding of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) principles and practices. Agility tool Expert- Must Have
  • Facilitation Skills: Proficient in facilitating complex meetings and workshops.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex organizational challenges.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience: Experience coaching and guiding Agile teams, ideally with some experience leading ARTs with at least 5 years of functioning as Agile coach / RTE.
  • Learning: Ready to learn new tools, concepts etc.
