Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled Test Automation Engineer to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain large-scale automated test solutions to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. This role requires deep expertise in automation frameworks, programming, and testing best practices, combined with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using Java, Python, and the Robot Framework.Create custom libraries and resource files to enhance the Robot Framework for efficient test automation.Implement and execute automated tests for web applications using tools such as Selenium WebDriver.Conduct API testing using frameworks such as REST Assured (Java) and Requests (Python).Collaborate closely with development, QA, and product teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes.Use version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage test scripts and automation resources.Analyze test results, report defects, and follow up on defect resolution to ensure product quality.Apply software development best practices, including OOP principles, design patterns, and SDLC understanding.Skills & Competencies:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.5+ years of experience in test automation or similar roles.Expert-level proficiency in Java and Python.Hands-on experience with Robot Framework and Selenium WebDriver.Proficiency in API testing and understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.Experience: 5+ years in test automation, with proven expertise in designing and implementing scalable automation frameworks.
