- Leading the civil engineering team in project planning, design, and execution
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety standards
- Managing project budgets, resources, and timelines effectively
- Expertise in Civil construction & structure for thermal powerplant.
- Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success
- Providing technical guidance and expertise on civil engineering matters
- Implementing best practices to optimize project efficiency and quality
- Overseeing the procurement of materials and services for civil works
- Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work
- Resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise during project execution
- Reporting project status, milestones, and risks to senior management
- Experienced in heading the civil department, also handling the team of 30-40.
- Civil construction experience in BTG, BOP, CHP, water intake and other packages.
- Expertise in all type of structures in power plant.
- Must have greenfield or brown filed power plant experiences.
- In-depth understanding of construction methods and materials
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred)
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Attention to detail and quality orientation
- Extensive knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices
- Proficiency in project management tools and software
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software
- In-depth understanding of construction methods and materials
- Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Extensive knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field
- Master's degree in civil engineering (preferred)
- 25-30 years of total experience in the 10+ in Power/Energy industry
- Demonstrated track record of successfully managing civil engineering projects
- Proven experience in overseeing project planning, execution, and delivery
