- Lead the Manufacturing Automation Organization and will be primarily engaged in driving architecture design and development of Manufacturing Test systems for Global plants, including End-of-line systems and Automated Test equipment systems designing and reviewing Automation architecture & solutions.
- leading the team to deliver complex automation projects to global plants to improve quality, productivity, and safety.
- Establishing Manufacturing KPI’s and scorecards through digital platforms.
- Contribute towards Organization long-range plan of pursuing our advancements in Manufacturing Automation and Engineering capabilities globally.
- Implement Operational Technologies (level 0 to level 3) in plants and ensure a good understanding of Plant Information Technologies & tools (level 4 to level 6).
- Drive Industry 4.0 technology projects, including OT tools, machine networking, data collection, analytics, and decision-making.
- Manage the technology lifecycle: from concept to scalable deployment, collaborating with industry partners and universities.
- Engage in business development, drive new technology initiatives, and build new capabilities.
- Oversee capacity planning, recruitment, training, and development initiatives to build a strong and capable team.
- 20+ years’ experience in the field of Industrial Automation & Digitalization and must have experience in leading the team to implement larger digitalization projects at plants
- 20+ years in Industrial Automation & Digitalization, leading large digitalization projects.
- Expertise in Industrial Automation tools, electrical & controls design, PLC/HMI/SCADA programming, network protocols, and safety standards.
- Competence in Industry 4.0 technologies, Plant modeling & simulation, Process engineering, and Productivity & Quality enhancements.
- Experience in manufacturing process and quality engineering, productivity improvements.
- Proven track record in designing automation solutions, including Robotics, Vision systems, and Material handling.
- Strong knowledge in discrete manufacturing and cross-functional team collaboration.
- Extensive experience in Manufacturing Test systems architecture and development.
- Proficiency in Electrical & Controls, Line, Machine, and Process Automation, Industry 4.0 & Digitalization.
- Experience with OT layer projects (levels 0 to 3 of ISA 95 standard).
- Leadership skills with diverse teams, providing mentorship and fostering collaboration.
- Strong knowledge of Industry 4.0 deployment, including OT tools, machine networking, data collection, analytics, and dashboarding.
- Proven ability to drive Manufacturing KPIs and scorecards through digital platforms.
