To lead and manage the Direct Channel business for a defined geography by driving sales
performance through Level 2 team managers, ensuring achievement of business targets, team
productivity, and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities
1. Business Delivery
Drive achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
Ensure growth in premium collection, policy count, and revenue
Monitor daily sales performance and take corrective actions2. Team Management (Level 2 Handling)
Manage and lead a team of Cluster/Unit Managers (Level 2)
Ensure team productivity and target alignment
Conduct regular performance reviews and feedback sessions3. Hiring & Training
Recruit quality talent across levels
Ensure proper onboarding and training of new hires
Continuously coach team members to improve performance4. Sales Strategy & ExecutionDevelop and implement area-specific sales strategies
Drive campaigns for customer acquisition and cross-selling
Optimize lead utilization and conversion rates5. Performance Monitoring
Track key metrics such as:
o Conversion ratio
o Productivity per employee
o Cost per acquisition
Identify underperformance and implement improvement plans6. Customer Management
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
Address escalations and critical customer issues
Promote long-term customer relationships7. Compliance & Process Adherence
Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory guidelines
Maintain proper documentation and audit compliance8. Reporting & MIS
Prepare and present daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports
Provide insights and recommendations to senior management
