Overview This position is responsible to work closely with Sector CoEs and SMEs to create Should Cost Models for commodities & categories. Selected candidate will work on assigned categories and build cost models by collecting and analyzing information/data on direct and indirect cost drivers. Responsibilities Prepare cost models across multiple spend categories through comprehensive understanding complete value chain of production process. Conduct research on production/delivery processes on categories, create analytical models, validate data structure, assumptions and accuracy. Develop standard methodology of model creation, which can be leveraged across categories. Analyse cost model results and work closely with category/sector SMEs for validation and effectiveness. Work closely with the Team Lead and other team members in defining and tracking KPIs and reporting periodic updates to the leadership. Act as a subject matter expert within Should Cost CoE for cost modelling across organization. Work with internal technology and transformation team to build digital tools, which can host cost models across categories. Provide users training on digital platform (as needed) Maintain central database of common cost drivers, which can be leveraged for scaling models across categories and geographies. Demonstrate strong knowledge of should-cost modelling and work closely with third parties to in training and knowledge transfer Track and report SLA/KPI's/Savings as per agreed methodology Act as a role model in building and improving the CoE structure. Lead workshops with users to find opportunities for improved/efficient reporting and align work plan Qualifications Expertise in excel modelling and data crunching. Must have work experience as a Research Analyst in Commodity segments and cost modelling. Experience in research, knowledge of modeling techniques, and basic finance / accounting knowledge Thorough knowledge of various regional & international Indexes and their trend. Must be able to analyze the impact of global political / economic / geographical events on commodity prices. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong analytical thinking with proven ability to connect and analyze data. Advanced Excel skills Experience with visualization platforms (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau etc.) Structured thinker / problem solver who works independently Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Great Collaborator Language: English Fluent (Written & Oral)
