With this position we offerJoin the AMG Markets Team, a group of software and DevOps engineers dedicated in supporting on-prem and SaaS trading solutions.Role Responsibilities-As a Lead Application Engineer, you will serve as an innovative leader and subject matter expert in the design, development, testing, automation, and operation of infrastructure supporting the company’s trading platform solutions.You will drive technical excellence, ensure system reliability and scalability, and collaborate across teams to deliver high-performance solutions that meet business objectives.Primary responsibilities include Daily Technical Operations including Application Management and Support for Nasdaq provided services.It also encompasses answering support calls and providing resolution to urgent production issues, with hands-on expertise in process automation, infrastructure management through code, and the establishment of continuous integration and deployment pipelines.This includes 24/7 Technical Operations and Application Support, managing Incidents for both internal and external customers, installing application updates and maintaining operational documentation and procedures.Besides working closely with your colleagues in Pune, India, you will also work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countries.We work with other architects to gather requirements and design solutions for new projects and implement them!An opportunity to engage with engineering teams to create development processes for new projects.An equal opportunity to identify, prescribe solutions and implement remediation as required by InfoSec findings!Build and Maintain infrastructure, repair bugs, and respond to downtime in accordance with business continuity plan.Provide day to day support for product and customer requests.Conduct all business in accordance with policies and procedures.This role is on shift rotation, requires to work during 13:00 - 22:00We expect you to have-
  • Minimum 10 years of proven experience
  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
  • Extensive experience in System Operation, DevOps, Network, Application Operations, or other related areas
  • Conducts security assessments of sophisticated systems, networks and applications
  • Demonstrated expertise in Linux/Unix
  • Extensive experience with Terraform
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in AWS services and architecture
  • Extensive working experience with EKS/EKS-A
  • Extensive knowledge creating and managing CI/CD pipelines, experience in Git/GitLab
  • Proven knowledge of scripting and automation
  • Excellent language skills in written and spoken English
It would be great if you (Preferred Qualifications)
  • AWS certificates would be a plus
  • SQL and Postgres knowledge
