- Create virtual models of in vehicle physical systems for control systems development and testing purposes.
- Perform MIL/SIL/PIL/HIL tests for validation of system model and control strategy.
- Develop model based firmware for deployment and testing of ECUs with Embedded systems team.
- Research and develop advanced real time control and estimation strategies for real time safety critical electric power train systems.
- Work closely with embedded systems team for testing and validation of control models in limited lab conditions and real world conditions for product deployment.
- Continual improvement of control models based on field performance data.
- Work towards novel control strategies and contribute towards strong IP generation and knowledge growth in the field of control systems development.
- Indepth knowledge of working with virtual model development systems like MATLAB-Simulink/SciLab-Xcos etc.
- Good practical knowledge of control systems development and deployment in real world systems.
- Practical knowledge of software testing and software test bench development.
- Working knowledge of MIL/SIL/PIL/HIL testing processes.
- Good understanding of embedded systems hardware peripherals.
- Good understanding adaptive algorithms for state estimation of physical systems.
- In-depth understanding of power electronics systems such as DC-DC converters, DC-AC inverters.
- Working knowledge of state space model of power systems.
- Has worked on feedback design for system stability.
- Has deployed system model and control on field hardware.
